Project Description
The rehabilitation and expansion project of the school facility in Estarreja aimed to modernize existing installations and increase its capacity, while ensuring maximum durability and protection against moisture in foundations and concrete elements.
To guarantee complete watertightness in underground areas and ground-contact surfaces, a high-performance crystalline waterproofing system was selected. Integrating these solutions protected the structures against water ingress and aggressive soil chemicals, ensuring long-term project sustainability and reducing maintenance costs for the school infrastructure.

- Penetron Admix SB: Crystalline waterproofing admixture added to the concrete during batching.
- Penebar SW-55: Hydro-expansive waterstop strip for sealing construction and cold joints.
- Penebar Primer: Acrylic emulsion primer formulated to enhance adhesion between the Penebar SW-55 hydro-expansive waterstop and the concrete surface.
