Project Description
Quinta da Asneira, a renowned accommodation in Montemor-o-Novo and part of the prestigious Small Portuguese Hotels network, trusted the Penetron System to ensure maximum protection, durability, and permanent waterproofing for its concrete structures.
Used Products
- Penetron Admix SB: A deep crystallization additive added directly into the ready-mix truck on-site. It reacts with moisture and cement hydration by-products to form insoluble crystals within the concrete's pores and capillary tract. It ensures continuous self-healing of microcracks up to 0.5 mm and permanent waterproofing for the entire structure throughout its lifespan.
- Penebar SW-55: A controlled-expansion waterstop strip designed for construction joint treatment. It expands upon contact with water, effectively sealing joints and preventing water ingress at the most critical points of the structure.
