Featuring contemporary architecture where aesthetics and functionality merge, this luxury villa in Vilamoura stands out for its use of exposed concrete as a dominant structural and visual element. Given its proximity to the sea and the Algarve climate, the concrete surfaces are constantly exposed to aggressive agents, moisture, and salt spray, demanding a definitive waterproofing solution that preserves the material's natural texture and visual finish.

To meet these demanding technical requirements, Penetron Admix SB was selected. Added directly to the concrete, it provides comprehensive protection from the inside out. Its crystalline technology reacts with moisture and cement hydration by-products to form an insoluble crystalline network within the pores and capillaries of the concrete, rendering it completely impermeable to water and safeguarding the reinforcement steel against corrosion.

Its continuous self-healing capability for microcracks and the fact that it leaves the concrete's final appearance completely unaltered were decisive factors in ensuring maximum durability, structural integrity, and long-term sustainability for this home.
